The author discusses social responsibility in the Sunnah in seven chapters: love, such as brotherhood for the sake of Allah; cooperation, such as helping travellers; justice, such as fairness between one's children; endowment, for the poor, relatives and good causes; solidarity, such as service, sponsoring orphans, widows and the poor, and kindness to neighbours; vocational training, such as training a craftsman to improve his work and helping those without a trade; and solving the problems of society, such as poverty, bankruptcy, disputes and the problems of young people.
